Centrifugal-Clearwater Series Pumps

Robin Pumps

Superior built quality and ease-of-use features ensure continued great performance, even after years of hard use. Entire unit, both pump and engine, built by Subaru Robin to very high standards. All models feature construction-grade features, plus easy starting, whisper-quiet running, easy & safe operation, long running time, low maintenance & long engine life. Subaru Robin is the fourth largest engine manufacturer in the world, with distribution for over forty years. Subaru Robin Portable Pumps have earned an enduring reputation for high quality & performance.

Centrifugal-Clearwater Series Pumps

Four Models: 1, 2, 3, 4-Inch Inlet/Outlet; 28 to 356 gpm

A centrifugal pump works similar to sucking on a straw. An engine turns an impeller, forcing water around it and out a discharge port. Centrifugal pumps deliver liquid at uniform pressure without shocks or pulsations, and can handle liquids with some amounts of small solids in suspension. Having only one easy-to-repair wearing part (a seal) a centrifugal pump needs no lubrication, gears, pistons, or diaphragms. The simplicity, compactness, weight saving, adaptability to high-speeds, and economy make centrifugal pumps ideal for a wide variety of general applications. All Subaru Robin centrifugal pumps are self-priming.

Diaphragm Pump

One Model: 3-Inch Inlet/Outlet; 85 gpm

Diaphragm pumps isolate the pump mechanism from fluid being pumped.  This makes them ideal for pumping chemicals, abrasives, slurries, viscous products, seawater, re-circulated water and many other fluids. Diaphragm pumps can handle sticks, stones, debris, mud, trash, and solids up to mesh sizes specified by model. Positive displacement type, hermetically sealed compression chamber prevents loss of gases or liquids being handled, making diaphragm pumps ideal for handling compression & evacuation of precious, toxic, corrosive, inflammable, radio-active, or otherwise dangerous gases.

High-Pressure Series Pump

One Model: 2-Inch Inlet/Outlet; 127 gpm

High pressure pumps employ a larger diameter impeller having more and shallower vanes to attain higher pressures. These models offer more powerful performance with very high output, higher discharge heights, and capacity to pump longer distance through hoses.

Semi-Trash Series Pumps

Two Models: 2, 3-Inch Inlet/Outlet; 153 to 246 gpm

Semi-Trash pumps handle light debris for heavy-duty de-watering applications. A semi-trash pump employs deeper impeller vanes, incorporated with a larger volute discharge opening to pass water containing suspended particulate matter and small solid objects. Subaru Robin semi-trash pumps are self-priming, semi-trash type, designed to move high volumes of water fast, allowing passage of solids to flow through the pump without clogging (up to 1/4-inch diam. for 2-inch model; up to 3/4-inch diam. for 3-inch model).

Trash Series Pumps

Three Models: 2, 3, 4-Inch Inlet/Outlet; 185 to 528 gpm

Trash pumps handle larger solids & debris for heavy-duty de-watering applications. A trash pump employs the deepest impeller vanes to produce the largest discharge capacity, incorporated with a large volute discharge opening to pass water containing suspended sticks, stones & debris without clogging or harming pump components. Subaru Robin trash pumps are self-priming trash type, designed to move high volumes of water fast, allowing passage of solids to flow through the pump without clogging (up to 3/4-inch diam. for 2-inch models; up to 1-1/4-inch diam. for 3- and 4-inch models).
